Judge Ravi K. Sandi II brings 16 years of experience as a Texas District Court Judge to his dispute resolution practice. In his time on the bench, he resolved more than 21,000 matters and tried over 1600 cases, including complex multi-party commercial disputes and cases involving construction, real estate, oil and gas, fiduciary duties, contracts, insurance coverage, legal and medical malpractice, personal injury and employment issues. Through that work, Judge Sandi II developed a deep knowledge of the law and a keen understanding of the forces at work in litigation – from clients to lawyers to juries to judges. He knows what works and does not work in the courtroom. More importantly, Judge Sandi II’s tenure on the bench gave him profound insight into people and what drives them, as well as the most effective approaches to conflict resolution. Judge Sandill provides arbitration services both as a single neutral or as part of a panel In addition, Judge Sandill provides services as a special judge when parties desire to have discrete issues or entire cases referred to him in accordance with Chapter 151 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. In this role, Judge Sandill is able to devote the time it takes to resolve issues and move cases along. He approaches these assignments just as he did every case during his time on the bench – with focus, diligence, and efficiency.
In addition to his 16 years on the bench, Judge Sandill is a husband, father, and a cancer survivor. He has a unique approach for the profound disruption that can be associated with litigation and the significant value that can come from reaching a resolution outside of the courtroom.
